I love reading epistolary fiction. Because I read so much of it, I thought it was high time I shared favorite quotes from my best-loved epistolary novels.
While I have read very few epistolary novels, I love the quotes that you have presented here, especially the one about books having homing instinct that brigs them to their perfect readers. I've always wondered about the same - why do we gravitate towards certain books which are perfect for our personality and match the sentiments that we are currently experiencing? Is it a mere coincidence or some hidden fate that attracts us to the right book at the right time, designed specially to alleviate our mood?
I think books call out the the people who they know will love and cherish them, which is why we stumble across ones that seem to be meant for us:) I am fully convinced there is some connection between a book and it's intended reader.
